Aspirational long distance walks

These are medium to long distance walks that may take a few days or a few weeks which we would like to try in the future.

The Wherrymans way is 35 mile long walk alongside the river Yare from Norwich to Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.

The Ridgeway is an 87 mile long ridge top walk in Oxfordshire.

This beautiful walk along the Norfolk coast has three options:
Hunstanton to Cromer 46 miles.
Hunstanton to Sea Palling 63 miles
Hunstanton to Hopton on sea 83 miles

This is a 2,180 mile long trail in the Appalachian mountains. We may never do this because Tony has seen the film Deliverance and Steve is a bit concerned about the bears .Roger is aware of both.

This is a network of pilgrimage routes stretching across Europe which come together at the tomb of St. James in north west Spain. The most popular route is 500 miles long. Roger has already done 100 yards of it while on holiday in France.

The Picos de Europa (peaks of Europe) are a range of mountains 20kms inland from the coast of Spain. Stephen would like to have a go at the many trails found here even though they have bears.

Good old Julia Bradbury and her TV programme got people to vote on their favourite walks in the UK these are the results. We have done some of these walks but we put this link in just to highlight the range of wonderful walks available in our country.
