The three meanderers were lucky enough to visit the west coast of Sweden in the glorious summer of 2018. The video below gives you a taste of the area.
Day 2
We drove north to a place close to the Norwegian border called Tanumshede to view the UNESCO world heritage site where you can find Bronze age rock carvings spread over three sites as well as an interactive museum.
Our ten day trip meant flying to Gotenburg Swedens second city, hiring a car and driving north to Mollosund on the island of Orust where we had rented this very nice house for 7 days.

A tradition in Sweden is FIKA which means a break for coffee and cake which we happily adopted |
A visit to Smogen 30 miles north. According to the tourist blurb the buzzing boardwalk and hip youthfulness of Smogen must not be missed so we thought we would fit right in.

We decided we needed culture so we headed for the nearby island of Tjorn to a place called Skarhuaman to see its famous Arts centre.

Day 6 Fjallbacka
