The lure of cake and coffee

Each walk has a motivation. Tony organises the walks and drives us to the departure point in return we supply him with coffee and cake which Stephen and Roger take turns to pay for. We have tried many different cafes in West Yorkshire and we rate this one which is THE OLIVE TREE at a place called Totties near Holmfirth.
Relaxing at the Olive Tree after a delightful walk

On the left is Tony who has demolished his cake but there is an elephant in the room in the shape of Rogers hot Chicken and stuffing roll with gravy and chips. Tony and Stephen are hoping against hope that Roger will share this with them , which he did. More cafes to come in the future.

This is Gibson Mill at Hardcastle Crags near Hebden Bridge. It was built in 1800 as a water powered cotton spinning mill and is now managed by the National trust. After a delightful walk we decided to visit the café.
Here we are advancing towards the café with a variety of head gear looking very fashionable.
Inside the café in Gibsons Mill.It was Stephens turn to take out his wallet. On the plus side the surroundings were pleasant and all the energy used was generated by solar panels and a hydro generator. However we had to mark it down because of a limited choice of food.We decided to go for the sausage rolls with chutney. We were underwhelmed by the size and the fact they had been overcooked!Tony is looking gutted because he has no cake .I also think it is bad manners to keep your hat on indoors 4/10
